Batch #2 delivery day — and what a day it’s been! 🚚 We ordered 6 new Butler ByteBox machines… and today became a crash course in “why moving fridges is not for the faint of heart.”
Picture this: the pallet jack didn’t fit the pallets the machines were strapped to, so all 6 machines got hand-unloaded in a parking lot, a 40-mile round trip was made chasing down a trailer that would actually work, and it was all a race against the rain clock. 10/10 cardio, 2/10 would recommend for a relaxing Friday. 😅
Two of our smart market freezers didn’t survive the trip looking their best — one came away with a battle scar on the back panel (RIP smooth panel, you served us well for exactly zero days) — so we packed those two right back up to send back, while new ones make their way to us. The other 4? Delivered and in one piece where it counts!
Tonight we are TIRED. Like “horizontal on the couch, questioning our life choices” tired. But the fun part is still ahead — stocking these babies up with snacks and drinks over the next few days and getting them out to their new homes. 🥤🍫
