In 1896, 160 acres of pristine Washington forest were granted to our family by President Grover Cleveland. After traveling by boat to the untouched South West Washington Coast, my great-grandfather began a story that we are still cultivating today.

In spring I pick the bright yellow flowers to make these cookies. Surprisingly tasty, each bite is filled with petals. Dandelion flower petals can also be sprinkled on drinks, salads, soup, or desserts.
I found the cookie recipe in a wonderful little book entitled Dandelion Medicinal by Brigitte Mars.
