Another great morning at BNI Heartland!

A big thank you to Jasen Britton of Blue-Sky-Inspections for an eye-opening presentation on something most homeowners hope they never have to deal with… mold.

Jasen educated us on the different types of mold, where it commonly hides, warning signs to watch for, and some of the biggest mistakes homeowners make when they discover it.

One of the biggest takeaways was that not all mold situations should be treated the same. What seems like a small issue can quickly become a larger problem if handled incorrectly, and sometimes the “quick fix” can actually make things worse.

We also learned about common areas where mold can develop, how moisture plays a major role, and why proper identification and remediation are so important for both your property and your family’s health.

It’s always amazing how much knowledge our members bring to the table, and today was another reminder that having trusted professionals in your network can save you time, money, and a lot of headaches.

Yesterday was an amazing presentation by Joe Goodwin of Brick and Mortar Real Estate.

Joe did a great education on why hiring a property management company is not only useful but in the long run saves you a an owner tons of time and money.

Also Joe educated us on the real estate market ins and outs.
