She’s finally seaworthy! 🏴‍☠️🌊 Lovingly dubbed “The Pirate Ship,” this project may be our largest to date. Post flooding & remediation, we installed drywall, bead board, trim (A LOT of trim), painted, & installed new flooring. We also reconfigured the plumbing, installed a new sink & vanity as well as reinstalling the toilet. Complete with a marine hatch to cover the sewer cleanout! I am so in love with how this basement turned out! Now on to the upstAAAARRRRS, ya scallywags! ☠️

I think this old sump pump came up from Davy Jones Locker with a few barnacles still attached…🤢 New pump we installed for comparison!

Ding, ding, ding!! We have a winner! Scotch sent FrogTape packing which was honestly a surprise. I prefer how the frogtape felt & applied, but it didn’t perform on textured walls & it pulled existing paint off even though it was on for less than 24 hours. ScotchBlue still didn’t leave a completely clean line, but it was much better than its competition. Plus a totally clean removal! 🙌🏻💪🏻🥊

We said goodbye to this sorry excuse of a subfloor today! It looked okay from underneath, but my foot went right through it. Previous attempts to fix it had weakened it, & someone’s next solution was to throw another subfloor on top. 🙃

Y’ALL…🥵 We crossed off a HUGE project this week with the completion of this 100 FOOT retaining wall! Our client has been experiencing extensive soil erosion when it rains, & they were happy to report no such issue with this last storm. 🥳🤩 Plus it’s pretty. 😏
