My friend almost fell through her floor! 😱 Thankfully her bathroom had two subfloors to help hold her sinking toilet. We pulled out all the rotten subfloor, replaced it with waterproof subfloor, and took the opportunity to update with new LVP. Now she looks good, and she’s safe!

I ADORE how bright & beautiful this home is! Helping a friend & her girls make this house a home was so rewarding, & it feels so joyous in there now. 🌸🌻🪻

We painted, resealed floors, pulled out cabinets & created an island with the leftovers, plus a cookie sheet cabinet to fill the space next to the new dishwasher. 🔨🪚🫟🪵

Yesterday, Kind Mind turned 4!! No better way to celebrate than to wrap up a HUGE project for a lovely family.

My favorite part of this work is getting creative with problem solving. You might remember we demo’d this basement so a foundation co could come in & do some waterproofing. This included floor drains along the exterior walls that we couldn’t screw into. This left a huge gap of 16” between the wall framing & the foundation, plus a window that would’ve essentially become a tunnel.

I suggested we do a window seat instead, so the window will look normal & we don’t waste all that empty space. I had one in my childhood home, so it was a bit nostalgic for me, too. Figuring out how to build one without messing up any of the foundation work was an interesting journey, but we did it!! We also extended the utility closet for extra storage & easy access to the sump pump & water supply.

I can’t wait to see how my client dresses it up, & I hope her boys enjoy many books, snuggled up in their windowseat. 🥰

I am BEHIND on posting projects!! 🙈

This was a backyard refresh & repair for a lovely mother/daughter duo. Unfortunately, the deck is in pretty rough shape, so we replaced the worst parts & added support where it was needed. Most of it will need replaced before too long.

We also removed some tree roots & relaid the affected pavers, replaced disintegrated planters with new light poles, & added 2 drainage corners where water & mud were pooling. She is backyard ready!

We're almost out of project space for 2026! 😍🙏

Never seen this before…instead of leveling the add-on & stairs…they NOTCHED THE BOARDS. ☠️ This is a fantastic example of what NOT to do. 😩

Another day, another bathroom! This one had some…interesting plumbing repairs by a tech from a huge plumbing co…so we fixed those. In doing so, we discovered the tile was laid right on to drywall! 😩☠️ This glue-in surround did NOT disappoint! Check out a few more pics in the comments!

LOOK. AT. THIS. BATHROOM.

First of all, my client has amazing taste. She saved this beautiful dresser to repurpose as a vanity, the mirror is original to it. She also chose the gold fixtures, THOSE SCONCES ✨, the emerald green…GAH. 😍 More pics in the comments!

The only original material in this bathroom is the Sheetrock. Everything else was replaced: subfloor, tile, vanity, toilet, plumbing, sink, light fixtures, light switches, outlets, etc. Plus we added the high wainscoting!

A little closet refresh for 2 of my favorite little clients. 🩵💜 The previous owner tried to patch some things, but didn’t finish. Now they’re clean & smooth, ready for soccer uniforms & dance costumes! ⚽️💃👯‍♀️
