1st draft renderings for this Tudor style remodel and landscape design project in Manhasset, NY.

The homeowner brought us the project already designed, but after seeing the renderings would like us to redesign the back pool area and we think this is a good call, as setback rules caused the pool to be moved into the patio in a weird way, compared to where it was designed originally.

Sometimes renderings can be helpful to show you what you don't want before you waste money on something you're not happy with.

Sharing a little about some new tools I've been developing for my specific workflow needs. One is a SU to Max Bridge tool. The other is a plant symbol placement tool, which was originally just for me to create placeholders in SU for swapping with 3D models in Max, but it could end up being a useful tool for planting design in general.

3ds Max terrain script I made today with the help of Claude Fable. It's a rewrite of the since abandoned Populate Terrain plugin by Marc Lorenz from 2011. It was a tool I used a lot and have missed having it in newer versions of Max.
