Hello everyone! I have a couple things in the works for the local area. Right now I'm piecing together a training on "Working with Adolescents in a Treatment Setting", could also apply to other types of youth programs/services as it includes professional expectations such as ethics and boundaries in which I'm applying to have endorsed for Continuing Education Units.

I haven't set a date on this one yet but I originally planned to launch in March, so I'm figuring it'll be around that time but when I have details I'll publish it here and begin registration info.

Boozhoo! Hello! Thank you for accepting the invite to Like/Follow my page šŸ˜Š

For those of you who donā€™t know me, my name is Elwyn Jourdain, Jr. Iā€™m from Red Lake, Minnesota. I have an extensive background with over twenty years in the substance use disorder field.

Iā€™m a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Other credentials include Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level III through the Upper Midwest Indian Council on Addictive Disorders.

Aside from my experience in the SUD field, I am also an artist of many forms and an owner of multiple businesses.

My goal for Jourdain & Associates is to bring a wide variety of topics for professional development trainings and seminars to those seeking further knowledge in whatever field it may be.

Once again, thank you for stopping by my new page and please feel free to share your input on training topics that may benefit you or your area. It doesnā€™t have to be SUD related, as the ā€œAssociatesā€ I have lined up consist of professionals in several different areas.
