I feel so privileged to be a partner with the Independent Restaurant Coalition! Independent restaurants are fighting an uphill battle. They need all the allies they can get.

"Independent restaurants don’t have the resources to lobby government directly like some larger brands do, and their needs are different than their enterprise counterparts. 80% of restaurants fail in the first 5 years, and most of those are independents. By organizing, all of those disparate little voices transform into one, unified voice. It’s easier for the government to meet the needs of 100,000 Independent Restaurants who have organized their priorities together, than 100,000 different owerns/operators with different goals and objectives. I’m so glad there’s a group committed to protecting restauranteurs’ dreams, and I'm proud to be a part of an organization like the Independent Restaurant Coalition."

Too Good To Go helps restaurants by facilitating sales of food at the end of the day that would normally be thrown away.

TL; DR: I think it's an amazing tool, but I don't think that restaurants are using it to it's full capacity.
