2020 was something wasn't it?! Whew glad it's over! But the best part of 2020 was seeing your smiling (ok, not always! lol) faces! I truly do love seeing you and your beautiful family year after year. It's so much fun when the kids talk about the last time I took their photos or when they talk about the photos hanging up in your home that they know I took, but they were too young to remember.

Thank you for choosing me to capture your memories. I know most of you are actually friends of mine, some as far back as high school, but I truly do appreciate it!

It’s gonna be quiet on the page this week cause the Runge’s are on spring break!! But that means beach time! And that means beach photos!

You know you want a beach session, so book it now!! I am limited during spring break, so it is first come first serve.

Have you always dreamed of beach photos but didn't think the Gulf of Mexico could be pretty in photos? well guess what?! A little photoshop magic can make Texas beaches look beautiful! So when will you book your session? Because I know you want to! Hurry before the summer heat comes in strong!!!

Sometimes a session isn't about family, but about friendship. These two (popular models here since one is mine and the other is her NICU bff!) "met" in the NICU and moms became good friends and have kept in contact since. We decided to get them together for NICU month and adoption day-as little miss L was born prematurely and was adopted! If you or your kid has a bff, make sure you memorialize it with photos, one day y'all will all look back on it fondly.

Oh boy! Photography is based in Richmond, TX and mostly shoots in the Richmond/Katy area. But sometimes I venture out into the Houston area! Fun fact-most of my life was spent in Houston! Keep me in mind if you want a session, but it's in Houston, because we can make that happen!

Many people know this, but for those that don't....my business is named after my kids. At the time I started my business I had all boys. Yes, after 4 boys, I finally got my little girl 3.5 years ago and many asked if I would change the name. So far I'm not. But I will say I feel so comfortable with families of all boys! And as much fun as I have with girls, this i what I know the best-boys!

Mom and dad try to be stern and reign in these boys, but honestly each time I've shot them they've been so funny and sweet, oh so typical boy! Aren't they just a handsome bunch?!! (parents from my kids schools may recognize these boys!)

Many of my clients recognize this spot! I love this open area and the wall it's connected to and I tell them that! lol Littles love sitting on the weird little rocks that were left over from a wall that has since been torn down.

You know what this mom told me? Her kids NEVER smile for photos. She was so worried about that! Toddlers can be tough, twins can be tough, but a session with twin toddlers who just don't smile for photos-oh I was freaking out y'all. Now I will admit she brought some back up with her, Aunt and Uncle who were super fun! But most of the images were all smiley and fun and loving! I was really surprised at how easy they were honestly. But it's also the hardest to take photos of your own kids. trust me. I know this all too well!!! lol

👏🏻STOP 👏🏻USING 👏🏻TRAIN 👏🏻TRACKS👏🏻 FOR 👏🏻PHOTOS!!

You won’t ever see me do it, even though i shoot right next to a track at almost all my shoots. And I’ll be honest, I have shot on them before. Before I knew how quickly they can come up on you. Before I knew it was really illegal and not just something people said (like picking bluebonnets is
“illegal”)

Watch this video! Watch how little time they have to get everyone off! Everyone’s thoughts are to run, but that little one is almost left! And it’s because it’s sooooo fast!!

sometimes you go thru a session and it’s just going thru the motions. But sometimes you have a family that you just hit off with! And while you’re editing you just say oooohhhhhh.

I do a lot of posing when I photograph my subjects, but I shoot a lot of movement too. I love and adore shots that show interaction, with lets true love just shine thru. These photos of the subjects not looking at me are usually my favorite. This image is 5 years old, but it's always been a favorite of mine.
