Want to Relocate to the UK Without a Skilled Worker Visa? Here’s How!
Moving to the UK without a Skilled Worker visa can feel tricky, but there are other ways to make it happen! Check out these options:
1. Family Visa
• If you have family in the UK, you might qualify.
• Spouse/Partner Visa: Married or in a long-term relationship with a British citizen or settled person? This could be for you!
• Parent Visa: Got a child under 18 who’s British or settled in the UK?
• Adult Dependent Visa: Need care from a family member in the UK?
2. Study in the UK
• Get a Student Visa, study at a UK university, and after graduation, you might get a Graduate Visa (work in the UK for 2 years) or switch to another visa type!
3. Start a Business
• Have a creative, innovative business idea? Apply for a Start-Up or Innovator Visa. Your idea needs approval from an official UK body.
4. Global Talent Visa
• Are you skilled in tech, arts, or research? Leaders (or future leaders!) in these fields can apply.
5. Ancestry Visa
• If you’re from a Commonwealth country and have a grandparent born in the UK, this visa could be an option!
6. Youth Mobility Scheme
• If you’re 18–30 and from certain countries (like Australia, Canada, or New Zealand), you can live and work in the UK for 2 years!
7. Visitor Visa
• You can visit the UK for up to 6 months, but this isn’t a way to settle long-term.
8. Seeking Asylum
• If you’re facing persecution in your home country, you can apply for asylum in the UK.
9. Investor Visa
• Got £2 million to invest? This is an option for high-net-worth individuals.
