Good Monday morning!
So after a heartbreaking story we heard this weekend we want to put out this psa.
Please verify the plumber who is making repairs in your home. They absolutely have to be working under a master plumbing license and plumbing contractor license to be out on their own. Just because they have a residential plumbers license or journeyman’s license does not make it legal for them to be out doing repairs or installing new plumbing. If they cannot provide you with a plumbing contractor license and master license they are not legal. The reason this is important is for insurance purposes if something happens. Your homeowners insurance will not cover mishaps by unlicensed plumbers. Neither will their insurance once they find out they were not qualified to do the work. Which leaves the homeowner 100% on the hook financially for repairs. Save yourself thousands by verifying the plumber and company on colorados Dora plumbing license lookup. The department of regulatory agencies is your friend.
Anything that deals with repairs on water lines or sewer and gas requires a licensed plumber. Drain snaking does not. Help out legit companies that pay thousands into the state to be legit. Save yourself heartache. Feel free to call with any questions! 970-366-0869.
