I can finally announce what Ive been keeping secret the last 2 weeks.

I have changed positions at Advancing Eco Agriculture and am now tasked with continuing to build our rapidly growing distribution and continuing to serve as agronomist for many growers across the country. I am excited about my new role as Distribution Manager - Senior Agronomist and want to hear from anyone that shares the same goals as AEA and myself in helping farmers be profitable and successful. Reach out or share my number if you want to visit about being an AEA partner. 956-556-1815

AEA nutrition vs. a control treatment at Igl Farms in Antigo, WI.

Potatoes are a notoriously heavy-feeding crop, and we've had lots of success across the country helping growers improve their nutrition management to make sure the crop is getting the nutrition it needs at the right time. Reach out to see how we can help.

These potatoes got an in-furrow solution at planting, including:
✅ Phosphorus
✅ Rejuvenate
✅ HoloCal
✅ MycoGenesis
✅ OP-8
✅ A few micronutrients

They also get a couple of nutritional foliars at critical points in the season based on sap analysis.

Thanks to the Igl family and Marbleseed for hosting an organic potato field day last week and showing awesome results like this!

Conventional row cropper thinking AEA is just for fruit trees? I haven't worked with any fruit trees this season. My 100 plus row crop clients say send it!

I will be at 3 of these events. Make sure to come out and say hello!

Just like my great grandfather's violin that was passed down to my daughter this year, sometimes we need a little upgrade, a little regeneration. I have been more quiet on this page than I intended at the beginning of the year. That's not because I have disappeared, yet maybe I have. I've been focused on being available for my family and enjoying this last trip around the sun with my first born at home before she heads to college for nursing. I've been enjoying watching my youngest become the wonderful young lady she is with violin and golf. I've been taking care of my health with a goal to be in my prime by this time next year. And I've been focused on building a dealer network for Advancing Eco Agriculture that has seen great success in a challenging year. I still work directly with around 100 growers across the US and enjoy every moment of helping growers succeed.

Lets see what the rest of this great year entails and if you are an agronomist or agronomy company looking to work with a company that pioneered regenerative agriculture at scale then we need to talk. AEA is a company that meets the grower where they are at and values seeing growers succeed.

How much crop production can your soil support with the nutrients already present in it?

Bob Tillman's soil has enough potassium for 600 YEARS of production, and enough iron for 7 MILLION years. Bob used total nutrient digestion testing to discover the mineral reserves of his soil. And he's using biology to unlock it.

Bob founded Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery in 2003 in the steep terrain of Paso Robles, CA. He has spent two decades transitioning away from conventional methods to a biological approach centered on the natural resilience of his native ecosystem.

Today on the podcast, Bob and John Kempf discuss:
➡️ Transitioning to complete no-till after observing that native grasses were more effective than planted cover crops.
➡️ Using compost extracts and teas to inject biological activity directly into the soil through the irrigation system.
➡️ Providing ground cover with high-density native plant populations to support deep-rooted vines while maintaining high soil organic matter.
➡️ Using AEA and sap analysis to identify specific micronutrient deficiencies and adjust nutrition throughout the growing season through foliar applications.
➡️ Applying AEA products like CalGuard and Rebound Boron to address seasonal trending deficiencies in calcium and boron levels .
