We focus on ethical enrollment practices that deliver the program’s intended benefits to our communities. A fifth-generation New Mexican with roots in computer science and IT, he’s spent nearly a decade advancing solar energy across residential, commercial, and public projects. A longtime advocate for the state’s energy transition, he founded WattsUp NM to expand community solar access - especially for Low-to-Moderate Income households, delivering lasting economic and environmental benefits for New Mexicans.

We’re also sharing a simple flyer with other PNM programs that can help lower or better manage your bill.

Today I had the opportunity to provide public comment to the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission about consolidated billing and net crediting for Community Solar.

I thanked the Commission for adopting these important changes and encouraged timely implementation. Consolidated billing can make Community Solar much easier for income-qualified New Mexicans by removing the need for a separate bill and payment method.

While the industry heads to DC for the CCSA Summit to talk about the future of community solar, WattsUp NM is staying in New Mexico, building it.

We’re focused on building a local workforce, community partnerships, and real subscriber outreach here at home. Enjoy the summit - and let’s connect next week to discuss what we can do together to improve how the program works in New Mexico.
