What do you think a gopher can do to your mulched landscape?

Gophers are solitary animals, so one gopher can build an extensive tunnel system that leaves dozens of dirt mounds throughout a mulched landscape.

Besides eating plants, they can also damage drip irrigation lines beneath the mulch.

In this video, I show you how to read the mound patterns to locate the main tunnel. A couple of days later, we caught the large female gopher responsible for all this damage.

This is what happens when you wait too long...

A lot of homeowners think the gophers will eventually leave on their own.

Unfortunately, that’s usually not what happens.

It often starts with:

In Temecula, Murrieta and Riverside, we see this a lot where turf starts feeling uneven or soft due to tunneling underneath.
