Let me guess the reasons you talked yourself out of it.

"I'm too busy." (May it be because closing deals takes three times longer than it should?)
"I've done sales training before." (I understand. We believe all things are made equal...).
"I'm not even sure I'm a 'sales person.'" (Neither were half the best closers I know.)
"I'll do it after Summer." (Really!!? I wish our bills would stop during Summer time).
THE BEST: I don't need training, I am experienced already (This one, I will not even comment).

The reasons not to are always louder than the reason to and the reason to is simple: you want selling to get easier, faster, consistent. So… why not?

Message me to know more. I am accepting connections during Summer time still.

Permission slip, in case you've been waiting for one:

- You're allowed to be good at your job and still want to get better at it.
- You're allowed to have closed deals for years and still feel like you're winging the hard parts.
- You're allowed to want a system, a coach, and a room full of people figuring it out alongside you.

Wanting growth isn't a confession. It's how the best ones stay the best. Two days, this August. The door's open.

Message me and let's chat.

I talk about radical accountability all the time, both in my training sessions and in my own life.

In fact, last week, I spent 90 minutes discussing it with one of my classes.

The team was dealing with a lot of internal challenges, and we agreed that we needed to have an honest conversation about what accountability really means.

It’s not about beating yourself up or taking the blame for everything. It’s about owning your part, following through on your commitments, and taking responsibility for the things you can actually influence.

The rest? You can’t control it. It will happen whether you worry about it or not. The energy you spend there is energy you’re not investing in the things you can change. Think about it and share with me if you like.

If you remember my TEDx talk, you know I talk about rooms. Rooms that reject us until they know who we are. Sometimes it is hard to even come back to some, if you keep being invisible, and can't find a way to break through.

This is why, for me, rooms are important. I mean, actual rooms. This is why I care for details when I am inviting new professionals in for my Sales Program groups.

When you join the next one, starting Aug 5, the room will matter. Check it out where you will be, the surroundings, the smells that you can't feel yet.

There will be learning, sharing, support, food, and laughter - because if it's not fun, it's not me.

Thank you BAS Group for hosting us!

Want to confirm if this is the room for you? Message me.

If you don’t know how your client makes decisions, you’re not selling. You’re hoping.

A client called last Friday. Smart business owner.

"I closed a big deal today," he said. "And it was so natural!"

I asked what was different.

"I stopped trying to talk them into it. I asked good questions, listened, reversed (it's a Sandler thing), and at the end, I told them whether I thought I could help and if what I said was worth it another conversation (another Sandler thing). They said yes, they wanted to know more. We closed two days later".

That is it. That is the whole reframe. He did not get smarter. He did not learn a slick line. He stopped performing and started having a conversation in which the other person felt completely seen.

People do not buy because you sell hard. They buy because they feel understood by someone they trust will tell them the truth. That is not a trick. That is the entire game.

If selling feels uncomfortable, ask yourself if you might be doing the wrong version of it. There's always a better way.

"I am not in sales, I am a business owner and I do business development."

I have heard this sentence a thousand times. Usually from talented people who are quietly missing their revenue targets.

Another one? "I am an entrepreneur", and "I am not salesy."

Here is what they actually mean. "No one likes sales people, "selling" makes me uncomfortable, so I made being uncomfortable a personality trait, not for me, and now I never have to do it."

Let me say something kind. Selling does not have to feel slimy. The version you are afraid of, the pushy, scripted, manipulative caricature, is not the version that successful people practice. That version actually does not work, even for the people who use it.

What if selling becomes when you stop performing and start serving? Spoiler: it stops feeling like sales and you actually may like to say to add sales to your founder title.
