Good morning Facebook folks. It's been awhile, but life is still hectic for me. As I said in a previous post a while back, my wife is now confined to bed as she no longer has the strength to walk or even stand on her own. For those unaware, this throws a kink in the works financially, so I've had little to no money to spare to work on the laser engraver or any woodwork for y'all. It also brings time availability lower as well. I've been picking up extra shifts lately to bring in more income so I can hopefully advance into something that will allow me more income and time to get back to doing those things. Keep your fingers crossed for me that everything comes together and works out. I miss you folks.

Hello Facebook folks. Just wanted to give an update about my absence. I've had little to no time to work on anything these last few weeks. I came home from work one morning to find my wife practically unresponsive. After 2 weeks in the hospital she was released, but is now confined to bed as she doesn't have strength to stand on her own. The majority of my time is spent taking care of her until disability kicks in and we can afford home care for her. Hopefully I'll be able to get into the swing of things soon.

Over the last year, I've had to turn down 3 laser jobs. Three different folks wanted a family portrait laser engraved on wood after seeing the bench I made (see photo). I had to say no because they wanted them 2'x3'. My laser is only big enough for 400mm x 400mm (15.75" for the Americans..lol). I am now in the process of enlarging my laser. It's going to be roughly 30" x 72". That will also make it easier to do more benches and signs. I'm having to do it Johnny Cash style... one piece at a time. 😆
