One thing we’ve learned through C.S. Consulting & Company is that sometimes the dream isn’t the problem, the dream just needs structure, strategy, and a plan.

Whether we’re building from the ground up, restructuring what already exists, helping turn an idea into an official business, or simply helping a client figure out what comes next, I love being part of the process.

But the best part? Watching our clients WIN.

Very chic to be the consultant behind it all.

This week, we learned something we didn’t know, and wanted to share it with you.

Nationally, every August is recognized as Black Business Month, established in 2004 by entrepreneurs Frederick E. Jordan Sr. and John William Templeton to celebrate the innovation, resilience, and impact of Black-owned businesses across the country.

At C.S. Consulting & Company, we’re honored to play a small role in that work. Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of helping nearly 10 businesses and nonprofit organizations move from dream to reality through strategic planning, organizational development, startup support, and implementation, including building our own business along the way.

Here’s to continuing to build businesses, create opportunities, and strengthen our communities.

Happy Black Business Month! ✨

We haven’t posted in a while BUT we’re back with excitement!
Join us in celebrating one of our clients, Haven Support Services, who trusted C.S. Consulting & Company with our grant writing services!

We are excited to share that Haven Support Services was awarded $5,000 in local funding to support students and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability within our community.

One thing we value deeply about our grant writing services is our ability to stay connected to the real needs of the community, identifying gaps, building relationships, and developing strategic proposals that lead to meaningful impact.

This funding will help support families in immediate need, and we are looking forward to seeing how many lives are impacted through this initiative over the next year.

Please help us congratulate Haven Support Services on this incredible accomplishment!

It’s Money Monday, and we’re always looking for ways to support local businesses.

In 2023, we secured $7,500 of local funding for a braid shop in NWGA, and this next opportunity could be yours.

The NAACP Inclusive Beauty Fund Grant is now open for beauty entrepreneurs.

Hair. Makeup. Skincare. Products.
If that’s you, it’s time to take a risk and apply.
