This week for Tissue Tuesday, we’re spotlighting our MLH1 Monoclonal Antibody 💡

MLH1 is an essential DNA mismatch repair protein that works with PMS2 and helps maintain its stability. When tissue shows a loss of MLH1 staining, it may point to MLH1 mutations or gene silencing, which can contribute to increased DNA replication errors. In oncology research, tumors with reduced MLH1 expression are often considered more immunogenic, making them especially interesting candidates for targeted immunotherapies.

Proteintech’s MLH1 Monoclonal Antibody is derived from a clone optimized for high performance in IHC. It has been validated in multiple cancer tissues with whole slide images provided for the most in-depth look at IHC data.

Validation is more than confirming that an antibody binds to its target. It’s about whether it can perform under conditions that reflect the biology of the protein and how the antibody will actually be used.
