Find out why your Samsung dryer stopped heating and how to fix it.
It’s really annoying when you open your dryer after an hour and the clothes are still cold and wet. If you have a Samsung dryer here in Austin, this is a pretty common headache. The machine might spin and sound fine, but without any heat, your laundry just won't dry. It’s a big waste of time, especially when you have a lot of chores to finish.
A lot of times, the heat stops because of a clogged lint vent. When the air can't get out, the dryer gets too hot and a small safety fuse inside "pops." Other times, the heating element itself just burns out from being used so much. Before calling a pro, check the vent on the outside of your house. If it's full of lint, clean it out and see if that helps. If the vent is clear but the air is still cold, an internal part is probably broken.
Fixing these electrical parts can be a bit messy and tough to do on your own. That’s where Hill Country Repairs comes in.
