Recruiting is one of the most important educational experiences a student-athlete will have, yet it’s rarely taught. That’s why we’re honored to welcome Katie Robinson as Founding Director of Recruiting Literacy at Polaris Athlete.
Katie brings a remarkable perspective as an 11-time NCAA All-American at the University of Texas and one of the nation’s most respected collegiate coaches. Across nearly two decades of coaching, she has led programs at Stanford, Northwestern, Tulane, Rutgers, Virginia, and Pacific.
At Northwestern, she became only the second woman to oversee both men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs in the Power Five, reflecting the trust and respect she has earned throughout collegiate athletics.
Katie has spent her career helping hundreds of student-athletes navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives while building championship cultures rooted in excellence, leadership, and academic success.
At Polaris Athlete, we believe recruiting literacy should be part of every student-athlete’s education. When students and families understand how recruiting works, they’re better equipped to ask the right questions, evaluate opportunities, communicate effectively with coaches, and make decisions that align with their long-term goals.
Katie’s leadership will help shape how Polaris Athlete Hub equips schools, counselors, coaches, families, and student-athletes with the knowledge to navigate the recruiting journey with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Katie, thank you for helping us build something that will empower the next generation of student-athletes. We’re honored to have you as a founding leader and excited for everything we’ll build together! 🚀
