Hey everyone! ☀️
For our new followers hi 👋🏼 this is me, I’m a stay at home mom of two adorable kiddos 🩵🩷 and business owner of Not too Shabby Chic.
When December came I took all month to decide whether or not to renew my business licenses. I almost didn’t renew to be honest. I haven’t posted on here a lot or done a lot of projects. What you don’t see aside from being a stay at home mom is I also worked with individuals and other small businesses finding specific furniture for them and getting commissions off of it. Things have really slowed down with the economy, people just don’t have the money right now, so I slowly stopped working with the businesses and decided I miss working in the furniture. It’s something I love to do and was so lucky to be able to start a business off of it and stay home with my kids, especially when my first born got home after being sick and 2 months premature with my maturnity leave run out. I miss my old job and always thought I’d be a working mom but discovered I love being a stay at home mom more. Instead of spending hours looking for furniture for others, I decided to no longer do that. ❤️ I miss my work, it’s also not worth it anymore to spend forever looking for others and it not selling. I apologize to those who have reached out or intended to and messaged them individually, you guys are amazing! If you tell me what you’re looking for and I get my hands on a piece I’ll try to send it to you first before posting and you can purchase from me it will just only be stuff I’m interested in working on as well. Right now my garage (and house) are full of projects! So I won’t get anything new in for a bit. I also can’t promise I’ll be picking things up right away, though I’m going to try, as I’m currently taking some small courses in my free time with the intent of possibly starting a second business. I’m also taking care of my health and things at home that I’ve prolonged for such a long time. Me not posting everyday has decreased my followers a ton and I am just so grateful for all of you who stayed and have been so supportive! This is all possible because of you!!! ❤️🙏🏻
