What an incredible evening celebrating the graduation of Russell County Leadership Class IV! Congratulations to these six outstanding community members for their dedication, growth, and commitment to becoming stronger leaders for the benefit of Russell County. Their willingness to invest in themselves today will create a lasting impact on our community for years to come.

Tonight was also a milestone moment for our organization as we proudly announced the establishment of the Russell County Leadership PATH (Paving a Trail for Hometown Leaders) Endowment Fund. This fund will help ensure the long-term sustainability and success of the leadership program, allowing future generations of leaders to continue learning, growing, and serving our community.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, donors, and community partners, we raised a significant amount toward our independent fundraising goal. We are grateful for everyone who believes in the mission of developing local leaders and strengthening Russell County.

🚴🏼‍♀️What an amazing time at WickedFest Kid Zone! 🚴

Russell County Leadership had a blast being part of such a fun-filled community event! From face painting and sidewalk chalk art to popcorn, activities, and getting up close with the fire trucks and first responders, it was incredible seeing so many families and kids enjoying the day downtown. 🚒🎨🍿

A huge THANK YOU to Russell Main Street for organizing another fantastic WickedFest event and bringing our community together for a day full of fun, smiles, and memories. We appreciate everyone who stopped by the Kid Zone and helped make the day such a success! ❤️

We had a fantastic morning yesterday hosting our annual 🤝Linking with Leadership event! 🤝

It was inspiring to bring together alumni associates from Classes I–III, our current Class IV, and our upcoming Class V for a morning focused on growth, connection, and community impact.

We kicked things off with a delicious breakfast from the Club Bakery before diving into an incredible start to the day. We were honored to welcome Russell County Area Community Foundation Executive Director- Angie Mueller, who presented us with a generous $250 Kindness Grant. We are truly grateful for this gift.

Our group of leaders was also joined by Gina Riedel of GR Results, a business coach and speaker with over 20 years of experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors. Gina spoke about everyday leadership and what that looks like to each one of us—encouraging us to grow our skills, build stronger relationships, and become positive influences in our communities. Her passion for developing people and her real-world experience made her message especially impactful.

We had a great time connecting, strengthening relationships, and expanding our network and resources right here in our rural community.
