Here in Aiken County, we're not waiting. The Aiken County Resilient Workplace Network (ACRWN), a partnership of Aiken County, the Aiken Chamber of Commerce, and the Aiken Center, is already helping local employers build workplaces where people in recovery, and the teams around them, can thrive.

When did you stop connecting the dots between your faith and your life?

I used to operate on two separate tracks.

🛤️ One track was "career and goals" climb the ladder, hit the metrics, prove myself
🛤️ The other was "faith" something that happened on Sundays or in moments of prayer alone

I felt proud that every professional goal was hit but confusion set in on why I felt empty.

I went through the business rhythms and although I loved the people I worked with, I felt drained instead of nourished. And underneath it all, this gnawing sense that I was missing something essential: the integration of my faith and my actual life.

The turning point was when I entered in recovery and the question came up 'Have I asked what God's will was for me, and not Jenny's'.

That's when everything changed.

That's the work I now do with my clients. In 90 days, I've watched people move from that fragmented existence to wholeness. From feeling disconnected from God, from their purpose, from themselves - to living with genuine alignment.

They stop asking "Is this all there is?" and get excited living out the calling God actually has for them.

The transformation isn't magic. It's intentional. It's Spirit-led. And it's possible for you.

You were not meant to choose between your faith and your goals. You were meant to integrate them and live them as one.

The Aiken County Resilient Workforce Network helps employers close that gap with no cost manager training and employee training, stigma-reduction strategies, and a peer-support framework that goes beyond a phone number in the handbook.

What if the most productive thing you did today wasn't on your to-do list?

The business world tells us to hustle harder, optimize more, and push through.

I've noticed something in the Christian professionals I work with: the ones who lead with the most clarity aren't the ones working the hardest. They're the ones who've learned to work from a place of rest.

My coach gently reminds me as we wrap up a second book draft, "Jenny, you cannot create from a depleted state." I've taken that to heart in all of my endeavors.

Where am I depleted and am I taking time to ask God for strength and to rest in Him?

That's not a productivity hack. That's a spiritual posture.

Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He wasn't talking about vacation. He was talking about a way of being, even in the middle of full calendars, real decisions, and meaningful work.

What changes when we lead from that place?

We stop confusing urgency with importance. We make decisions from peace instead of pressure. We build something sustainable and not just something impressive.
