Eric Windheim, BA, BBEC, EMRS, RFSO is a Certified Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist and Certified Building Biology Environmental Consultant. He is the founder of Windheim Solutions, which provides inspection, testing, and remediation of problematic EMFs.

In this episode, we discuss smart meters, which are digital devices that measure electricity usage in real-time, and wirelessly send that information to the utility company. Smart meters are sometimes used for gas and water.

Though there are four harmful types of electromagnetic fields—radiofrequency (wireless), electric fields, magnetic fields, and dirty electricity—smart meters use radio frequencies.

Brain symptoms associated with EMF exposure include insomnia, memory problems, irritability, depression, personality changes, inattention, fatigue, confusion, headache, ringing in the ears, dizziness, numbness, and tingling.

Problematic EMF can impact the brain in many ways. It causes oxidative stress and neurotoxicity. It disrupts our immune system, innate electricity, hormones, microbiome, limbic and autonomic nervous systems, and the blood-brain barrier. EMF can also contribute to elevated blood sugar.

The good news is that there are many ways we can lower our exposure.

An RF Data Log over time is much like a Seismograph Chart of an earthquake. It records and displays the variation of RF power density overtime. The FCC and wireless industry personnel use RMS averaging meter settings. Increasing number of informed scientists and health professionals use PEAK meter settings.

RMS settings are fine for determining the thermal effect of RF radiation on water while PEAK settings accurately measure the maximum impulse power that living cells, nervous systems and live organisms receive and endure while still attempting to function in a normal manner. PEAK meter settings also reveal fluctuation in RF power amplitude far better and with greater detail than RMS meter settings.

The PEAK RF radiation intensity, not the RMS average intensity, is regarded as the measurement of critical
“biological effects“. Biologically speaking: "the powerful punch is in the peak".

Actually there are four things that can create adverse health symptoms:
1. Amplitude or power level: sometimes lower levels can be more injurious.
2. Frequency of the transmission: ƒ
3. Modulation pattern such as digitized rapid rise and fall vs analog sinusoidal wave form.
4. Duration of exposure: total time of exposure.

Also: did the exposure occur while you were try to sleep, rest and repair from oxidative oxidative stress.

Sacramento is one of the first cities in the world to implement 5G Small Cell Tower technology. Roughly 600 new antennas have been installed in Sacramento alone since the 5G roll-out began in October 2018. Many of these antennas are being installed in residential areas, on lamp poles, exposing nearby residents to UNPRECEDENTED levels of hazardous microwave radiation exposure.

This Verizon Macro Cell Tower is 60% higher than surrounding trees.
It puts nearby residential units in it's fall zone.
It can have additional height and antennas added at a later date too!

I frequently am called out to assess homes close to Cell Towers like this and although the homeowners are severely symptomatic at home they often do not even know there is a concealed cell tower or power line nearby.

In the last year I have had six Electrical Engineers, EEs, as clients who were too close to cell towers or power lines.
I took measurements, showed them the risk levels and peer reviewed studies correlated to pain, injury health damage, cancer and even death and they decided to sell, move or avoid buying the house.
Three have moved, two have sold and two have avoided buying properties near cell towers. One is in total shock with no known action because they just moved into the new house in Folsom Ca.

It is amazing that Electrical Engineers who should know better actually do not. Why is that?

Testing the Verizon 4G/5G small cell system on lamp poles just outside second story bedroom windows is harming young children and their families. This ill conceived experiment upon non-consenting property owners and families, invited and approved by the City of Sacramento, is documenting that FCC radiation limits are not protective and harm, injury pain and suffering is occurring at less than 5% of the public FCC RF radiation limit.

Despite dozens of appearances at city council meeting, dozens of emails to the city council and even private meetings with city staff and council members the 4G cell antenna located 60 feet from the bedroom window remains on and is still radiating this family as it has been for almost a year now. In contrast, a noise disturbance after 10pm would have been shut down by a simple call to the Police Department.

The indoor RF radiation levels are the highest I have measured in five years of professional measurement. These children's symptoms are predictable and supported by peer reviewed studies from around the world.

So far, the City of Sacramento, Verizon and the FCC have refused to intervene by having the cell tower turned off: pain, suffering and injury continues.

In summary, it appears that City of Sacramento, Verizon and the FCC desire to hold to the narrative that this RF radiation level is safe and could actually be increased by 20 fold and still be legal.
