Everyone by now knows our love story....

We met the day we married, and no, he was not the man of my dreams!

After a few months of our business-related marriage, I flew to Texas to visit my short, little, goofy-looking man. What I didn't expect was for him to touch my heart. He was living in what I would consider hellish conditions but didn't mind because he sent his money to China for his family.

My heart was touched, and that inspired me to help him! Now, here we are 20 years later, and yes, he is the man of my dreams!

My latest visit to my pulmonologist at Stanford University revealed that my lung cysts have grown. I have about half of the lung capacity of others. 🫁

Tonight I am grateful! I have been quietly suffering from a devastating CT scan results of my lungs. Within a year my cysts have grown quite a lot and three nodules were also found. 🫁

Friday we saw my LAM specialist at Stanford and had my PFT tests before seeing my doctor. I kept blacking out as the tech was testing me but my results were encouraging. The best part is that the three nodules found are not cancer! 🚫🦀

Yummy deliciousness! Diabetic-friendly blackberry crisps! 🥧

I didn't like the previous recipe as it had a flour topping. This recipe is a mix of oatmeal and almond flour which makes for a yummy crunchy bite.

I still want to make a few tweaks but this is a great start and no I will not be sharing them with my husband! 🤣😂
