This session was such an adventure and I absolutely loved it.

We spent the evening exploring Santa Cruz, starting among the redwoods at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and ending barefoot on the sand at Natural Bridges State Beach as the sun went down.

Getting to photograph a family somewhere beautiful while making an experience out of the session might just be one of my new favorite things.

I would LOVE to do more adventure sessions like this! If you have a California trip planned and want to turn part of it into a photo session, let me know.
