We got into coffee for the slow mornings and peaceful rituals.

Anyway, here’s us hauling heavy stuff around like we’re training for the world’s least televised strongman/woman competition. ☕️💪

But seriously, buy some coffee. If we’re gonna cancel our gym membership and call this strength training, we need your support. 😂💪

Today marks 11 years married! We so often forget our wedding anniversary because we always refer back to our true begin at 16 years old. Which means we have been on this beautiful journey for over 20 years.

3rd Wave is just one small extension of the many lives we have lived together and the birth of a lot of hard deep work and commitment. It hasn’t always been easy, but truly worth it all.

So enjoy these photos, one of our wedding day, one of us now, and then ending with the very first photo we ever took together… when we started just as best friends. If I have any advice for anyone out there about marriage- it’s truly to marry your best friend. It makes every day way more fun!

of the only choice there ever was.

There have been so many moments building 3rd Wave when we’ve looked at each other and wondered if we were going to make it work. We’ve lost money, laid down dreams, started over, and questioned ourselves more times than we can count.

We couldn’t always see the opportunity while we were in the middle of the hurt. Sometimes, all we could do was trust God, learn what we could, and take the next step.

If you’re questioning your own “failures” right now, we hope our story helps you give yourself a little grace. A hard chapter doesn’t erase everything you’ve poured into your dream. You can carry those lessons into something beautiful, even if it looks different than you imagined.

The world will give you plenty of reasons to doubt yourself. Keep your heart open. Be willing to begin again. Take the leap with shaky hands if you have to.

We’re still learning, too. And we’re so grateful we kept going. 🤍
