FYI - You may have seen the news that the USPS is increasing postage costs, beginning July 9th.

Effective July 3, 2023 at 3:00 PM CST, AppealMaker pricing for nonprofit, standard, and first class presorted postage will increase by 1 - 2 cents per piece to reflect the USPS postage increase. AppealMaker pricing for first class postage will increase by 3 cents per piece.

July 3rd is the last date to place an order with a mail date of July 7th or earlier to receive current postage pricing.

Hey everyone!

Have you ever heard fundraising advice that just didn't seem quite right? It can be tough to know what to do when the advice we hear goes against our instincts or what we think our donors will respond to.

Recently, I had a personal experience with a school fundraiser that taught me a valuable lesson about making assumptions on behalf of donors. I missed out on a significant donation because I thought I was being considerate, but in reality, I ended up hurting both myself and the donor.
