Today we pause to honor the workers, creators, and dreamers who make impact through consistent, meaningful action.

If you're building something God placed on your heart — your labor is not in vain.

✨ Show up.
✨ Grow steadily.
✨ Build with faith and strategy.

Your calling deserves celebration today.

And one thing worth clearing up before the week starts.

Instagram isn't coming for you.

It's coming for fake people.

The headline went round last week and I watched people go quiet about their tools.
Delete a line from their bio. Stop mentioning what they use.

Read what it actually says.

TechCrunch and Social Media Today both reported the same thing: the label was renamed to "AI generated profile," and visibility drops for AI profiles that don't disclose.

Profiles. Fully AI-generated personas.

Ordinary creators editing a photo, polishing a caption, making a graphic — reported as needing no label at all.

The stated reason was that people don't like discovering a profile they thought was human is an AI-generated person.

That's the thing being penalised. Pretending to be a person.

You were never doing that.

You're a real person who used a tool. That has a name, and the name is not deception.

Send this to someone who got quiet about their tools last week. 🤍

Maybe the question isn't "should I use AI."

Maybe it's who I'm becoming while I use it.

It starts small.
A cleaner email.
A faster draft.
A little more done before lunch.

Then one day you open the blank page and wait — for the tool to think first.

AI in one hand is a tool.
In the other hand it's a crutch.
And a crutch will trip you the moment you lean your whole weight on it.

Here's the line I hold:
I set the strategy.
I do the foundational thinking.
Then AI makes it faster, clearer, easier to execute.

Thought first. Tool second.
That order is the whole thing.

Where's your line? Tell me in the comments 🤍

I use AI in my business.
But there are 5 things I will never let it decide.

Everyone shows you what to automate.
Almost no one tells you where to stop.

1. What I believe
It can give options.
It doesn't get to choose my convictions.

2. What I stand for
It can argue any side.
That's exactly why this stays mine.

3. My story
It can structure the words.
It didn't live them.

4. How I treat people
It can draft the reply.
The relationship still needs a human.

5. What I'm building
It can sound confident.
And still be completely wrong.

AI can help with the work.
It doesn't get to define the why.

You're allowed to use this with boundaries.

Send this to someone who's still deciding where their line is. 🤍

I asked myself a question that stopped me from using AI for weeks.

Am I taking someone's job?

Can we be honest? The usual answers are terrible. One side says AI changes nothing. The other says everything is already gone.

You've heard the other line too — that the people who use AI will replace the ones who don't. That isn't quite what the research says either.

The International Labour Organization looked at this in June and found large-scale displacement is still limited. What's happening is that tasks are being reshaped, not roles erased.

So sit with the real version. That graphic didn't go to a designer. It went nowhere — you skipped the post. The caption didn't go to a writer. You stared at the box until you gave up.

That's not a job you took. That's a new job created.

The better question isn't "who can this replace." It's "what can this help me do, so I can make room for people later."

Efficiency was never the point. Capacity was.

I actually want your honest answer — reply and tell me where you've landed. No judgment either way. 🤍

I almost didn't use AI because I was afraid people would think I was fake.

And honestly? That's a valid concern. Half of people say they prefer brands that don't use AI in what they put in front of them.

So the fear isn't silly. It's accurate.

But here's how it plays out. You open the app with something real to say. You get help shaping it. Then you sit there, because now it feels like it isn't yours.

So you rewrite it twice. Then you don't post it at all.

Don't be afraid of using AI to sharpen or enhance your original thought.

The fear doesn't make your content worse. It makes your content not exist.

AI isn't the problem. Letting AI replace your voice is.

It can structure, brainstorm, repurpose, get a first draft down. You stay responsible for the voice, the story, the beliefs, the expertise.

AI didn't live your life. You did.

So don't ask it to be you. Ask it to help you say what you already have to say.

Comment VOICE and I'll show you how to use AI without sounding like AI. 🤍

What if the proof you need is already sitting on your feed? 👀

A client once asked me to prove I could do the work. I didn't create anything new — I opened my own feed and found four posts that already answered exactly what they were asking for.

You don't always need a new body of work to say yes. Sometimes you just need to recognize what you've already built.

Your past work is evidence. Your experience is evidence.

Go find the post that makes you think, "Yep. I know how to do this."

Then drop "I'VE GOT PROOF" in the comments if you've been underestimating your own body of work.

I’m Still Learning to Let Faith Lead My Business
I used to think success meant never stopping—longer hours, bigger goals, always one more email.
Then I burned out and realized my business was taking more than it was giving.
So I’m learning, slowly and imperfectly, to bring prayer, rest, and integrity into the everyday.
Some days I get it right. Most days I’m still growing.
But something is shifting… and if you’re on this same messy journey, you’re not alone.
I’m learning to pause and pray before the big decisions instead of just pushing through.
I’m learning to protect one full day of rest each week, which is the sabbath, even when it feels hard.
I’m learning to choose honesty when shortcuts look easier.
And I’m learning to treat the people around me as more than just part of the work.
Some days I get it right. Many days I don’t.
But the frantic edge is softening.
A little more clarity is showing up.
And the work is starting to feel a bit lighter, a bit truer.
I’m not there yet.
I’m just learning to bring my faith into the everyday of business—and letting it grow me along the way.
If you’re on this same journey… you’re not alone.
What’s one small step you’re learning to take right now?

You’re overpaying for tools.
I run a content business that looks expensive — polished graphics, clean screen recordings, consistent posting, automated delivery.
Four of the five systems cost me nothing.
Graphics → Claude writes the code, code generates the imageScreen recordings → OBS Studio (free)Content calendar + email + product delivery → free plans
I’m not going to pretend the entire stack is free. That would be dishonest.
But two years ago I thought this level of output required hundreds a month.
The real barrier was never the price. It was knowing what already existed — and which settings actually matter.
That’s where AI is actually useful. Not just doing the work for you.Showing you the free alternatives you didn’t know about.
What are you still paying for that you’re not sure you need?
Reply and I’ll tell you if there’s a free way to do it.

AI can write your caption. The buck still stops with you and me.

Here's what that looked like last week.

"If someone reaches out and a robot answers, I've told them exactly what they're worth to me."

AI wrote that line for me. Read it back — it's a good sentence.

It's also unfair.

Plenty of people I respect run a welcome email or an auto-reply on a first message. Sometimes that's the platform they're on. Sometimes it's one pair of hands running a whole business. They're not telling anyone what they're worth.

AI drafted that in seconds. What it couldn't do was know the sentence would land as an insult on someone in my own audience.

So I deleted it and wrote the replacement myself. You can watch me do it in the video.

AI can lay out the options.

The choosing is mine.

Pssst!.. I used to be embarrassed to share my screen recordings.

Messy desktop.
Tiny we**am box floating in the corner.
A black screen where the recording had silently died without telling me.

So I recorded things… and never hit send.

Four days ago I gave it one afternoon.
Same laptop. Same we**am. Zero new subscriptions.
Just free, open-source OBS Studio — and Claude telling me which of the 200 settings actually mattered.

You're not missing a budget.
You're missing a setup.

Comment SETUP and I'll send you the exact settings. 🤍
