We have been graciously ushered into the last quarter of the year.

And as the year end approaches faster than I expected, I could not help but pause and think about where I actually am with my goals.

But reflecting on where I am also led me somewhere else, to how far I have already come. Because before I can honestly measure what is left, I have to acknowledge what has already been covered.

What has kept me moving through it all has been determination, consistency, and God’s help. Not perfection. Not having it all figured out. Just showing up, again and again, even on the days it would have been easier not to.

So here is what I want to leave you with today.

Do not let the remaining months of this year find you exactly where the last few left you. There is still time to move, still time to adjust, still time to finish this year with intention instead of regret.

Look back just enough to be grateful. Then look forward and keep going.

It was such a beautiful thing to gather with other friends to celebrate you, Lady G, your new age, and every one of God’s blessings on your life.

Watching the room fill with laughter, love, and genuine joy for you was a reminder of how special it is to be surrounded by people who show up to celebrate one another. You are so deeply loved, and it showed.

Four months until 2026 is over.

A friend said to me last Saturday, “Girl, I didn’t know you could dance!”

And I laughed and told her, “Sometimes, I surprise myself.” 😂

But that line stayed with me longer than the dance floor did.

Because if I can surprise myself on a dance floor, doing something I did not even know I was capable of, what else have I been underestimating about myself?

That got me thinking about how often we say, “I am not a business person,” with so much certainty. But let me ask you honestly. Did you actually try? Or did you just assume, because you do not feel the “business urge” right now?
Nobody was born knowing everything from the start. Every business owner you admire once knew nothing.
They learned.
They improved.
They repeated the process until it became second nature.

Maybe you are not “not a business person.” Maybe you just have not surprised yourself yet.
