⚠️ Flash Flood Warnings in Bexar County. Again.

Have you ever tried to rebuild your life after a tragic loss? When you lose your home in a fire or a storm, the insurance companies will want a record of what was lost. All your furniture, clothes, dishes, blankets, carpets, EVERYTHING will have to be catalogued and if you can't prove ownership, you may not get a dime for it.

What can you do? Well there's a few steps you can take today to protect yourself and your possessions. The first and MOST IMPORTANT is to create an inventory of your stuff. There's nothing more revealing about your current position in life than counting your spoons!

But a home inventory is just one piece of the puzzle. Do you actually know what your policy covers? Is it gonna match the rate of inflation? Will it cover your guns, your jewelry, your electronics? To describe what happened last year as anything other than "Awful" would be a massive understatement. The number of life altering moments that a person can experience while still grasping to their sanity is astounding and I am truly amazed at the strength that those in my family have mustered in order to overcome what I can only say was a series of near crippling losses, and while their absences from the holiday dinner table have been heavy we still persist in their memory.

Two of my three grandfathers, my grandmother, my uncle, and my father all passed away within a two year time span, each death was a sharp knife against my beating heart, carving ever more from the previous wound. This titanic pressure would cause anyone to re-prioritize their life, and so I did. I'm proud to say that I've started a new adventure, I'm now a licensed Insurance agent and I've begun my new career in helping people protect what truly matters. In the past I devoted myself to learning all there was to know about music theory, vocal production, and a litany of other complex systems and instruments all for the love of singing. I've now applied this near obsessive level of curiosity to insurance which has given me a strange amount of satisfaction!

I miss all these family members that are gone, especially my father and my uncle who we lost so suddenly, but I keep moving forward knowing its exactly what they would want to see. I'm gonna keep going y'all and I'm gonna make this world a little safer while I do it.
