In the last days of 2021, I made a personal commitment to lead the campaign on career opportunities within the Digital and Tech space till it becomes a spoken language in Africa.

In this piece, I have created a shortlist from numerous opportunities in the Tech space that require little or no tech experience. In tech, we have Application Users, Developers, Engineers, Administrators, Tester, Designers, and Managers. It simply means that everyone who contributes to the development of a digital application (Web/Mobile) does not need to have tech or coding skills.

There are several career paths/opportunities in tech and they usually come in three major experience categories namely Entry (0-3 yrs), Mid-level (5-9 yrs) & Senior (10 yrs above). Although it is desirable for you to have basic skills or domain knowledge in your chosen Tech career path, this is, however, not necessarily required for Entry-level roles. (To be continued..)
