Jesus taught worship in spirit and truth. The Spirit is always present, even in difficult times. Confessing our true feelings, even negative ones, can lead to transformation. If you bring the fire, He provides the sacrifice to burn away what needs to go.

Maturity isn't the absence of grief, but the ability to hold tears and trophies together. Like David, the giant slayer, or Paul, who rejoiced even while facing daily death. Even Jesus prayed for His cup to pass. You can win and weep simultaneously.

Is your worship a performance or a presence? True worship isn't about entertaining, but about truth-telling, even in silence. You don't have to dance in the dirt of your grief for others. Worship in spirit and truth, for the Spirit is always present.
