Watch Your Words
“Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands?” (Ecclesiastes 5:6)
“You are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.” (Proverbs 6:2)
We cannot let our mouths cause our flesh to sin. Our faith is activated by what we say. Therefore, the more negative things we say, the more chances we have to sin with our mouths. Every time we say something bad about ourselves, we sin by putting our faith in the world instead of God.
Say what the word says. Stop making excuses and inviting people to join your pity party. God is not responsible for the ramifications of the words you use that are not in line with His word. He watches over His word to perform it; not your negative words! Pastor Lekia Delight Thyself Book
