A day in the life of an overnight postpartum doula! Mama is feeling a little under the weather with cedar fever, so I've got bone broth simmering and I'm prepping veggies for some homemade soup while the little guy snoozes and Mama and Daddy get some good quality sleep ♥️

I currently have availability in May, June, and possibly July for birth and postpartum clients!

Such a rare birth phenomenon, many birth professionals can go their entire careers without ever seeing a baby born in the caul. I've been fortunate enough to experience it twice, and it was caught on camera!

Baby boy was actually born "in the caul" meaning he was still inside the amniotic sac. You can still see part of it over the top half of his face, as a creamy stocking cap that ends on his mouth. This only occurs in less than every 1000 births, and babies born in the caul are said to be born with infinite wisdom!

We sure were BUSY little bee's, today, er, yesterday, hehe, welcoming THREE precious babies in just under 13 hours!
Doula Ginni welcomed two babies earthside, a big beautiful girl in a rush to meet her family, and a precious little man who wanted to meet his family a little earlier than expected, while doula Monica welcomed one sweet baby boy and captured some photos of his big day.
Interesting facts:
- All babies born today had big sisters waiting to meet them!
- 2 out of 3 babies are repeat clients!

Happy birth day little man DP! Your mommy is amazing, and oh so special to me! Such a blessing to welcome this precious guy earthside, as I was also blessed to welcome his sister earth side almost 3 years ago!

Because it's been so long, here is a beautiful, brand new, squishy baby! We love you, sweet baby L!
We just wanted to say we are still here, we are just taking things a little slowly this season, as Monica is on maternity leave, and Ginni is focusing on family time.

This beautiful family welcomed their third gorgeous baby girl last week, and momma was an amazing and powerful birther! I had the privilege of being both doula and photographer for this phenomenal family, and here is a little glimpse of baby A's birth day!
