The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to announce Nikki Bell as the new Business Development Specialist. Nikki started her position on Monday, April 20, 2026.

As the founder, owner, and operator of Domestic Divas, LLC, Nikki brings 17 years of business ownership experience, which will be very useful in her new role of advising entrepreneurs and business owners. Nikki led all aspects of small business operations, including marketing, financial management, procurement, personnel supervision, client relations, and long-term strategic planning.

Additionally, Nikki has a strong record of community engagement and program leadership. She currently serves in leadership roles within civic and social organizations, including chairing and co-chairing large-scale community events.

Nikki graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies.

With more than 15 years of experience advising small businesses, Lisha has built a reputation for delivering transformative results to entrepreneurs across Texas. Her expertise spans fundable business plans, financial projections, startups and expansions, franchising, and strategic growth ex*****on. As a Certified Profit Mastery Facilitator and Certified Global Business Professional, she brings both technical depth and practical insight to every client engagement. She also expands access through Spanish-language advising and training.

Lisha joined the UTSA SBDC in 2016 after serving with distinction in both the Arizona and Austin SBDC networks, including leadership as a Diversity and Women’s Business Coordinator. Over the years, she has helped countless small businesses launch, grow, and thrive— earning her multiple honors, including San Antonio Advisor of the Year (2017 and 2020) and prior recognition as a State Star for the Texas South-West SBDC Network.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lisha is a widely published poet, Certified Life Coach, and Poetic Medicine Practitioner, reflecting her commitment to creativity, community, and personal growth.

Lisha will be formally recognized on May 7, 2026, during the National Small Business Week Awards Ceremony hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration San Antonio District Office, the Texas South-West SBDC Network, and the UTSA SBDC.
