Before you pursue an RFP, score the opportunity.

A strong bid/no-bid review examines more than whether your business provides the requested service. It also considers your eligibility, experience, staffing, finances, compliance requirements, timeline, and competitive position.

A recent client came to us with insurance already in place — but the coverage limit fell well short of what a specific RFP required.

This is a common and costly gap: business owners assume their existing coverage clears procurement's bar, when RFP-specific insurance minimums are frequently set well above standard business policies.

Our readiness reviews check insurance, bonding, and financial capacity against the actual solicitation requirements before submission, not after award. In this case, the client confirmed the cost to raise his limit was manageable and moved forward with full clarity on what winning would require.
