I have paused exams at all locations until October. I have recently had a career change and am currently transitioning between employers. I am going to take the month of September to learn a new aircraft, adjust to a new schedule, and continue to support my kids through cross-country season. The good news is, I will likely have more regular availability for exams at ORK after this transition period. Administrative actions are still available as always and I can perform those on an as needed basis. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I do realize training for your ratings is a huge commitment and you want to take your exam at peak performance. I encourage you to seek other examiners in the area, and I have listed a few of them below. All are great folks. Please continue to monitor the page and your email for updates as I anticipate exam openings starting in October. Have a great week and fly safe!

Last weekend the Little Rock FAA Safety Team held its annual training event in Mountain View. This year we brought in volunteers from the Memphis region as well for a great discussion about maintenance and drones. We recognized some great volunteers as well. Congratulations to Edgar Lagorio on passing his Instrument Airplane exam at ORK. Edgar works for Dassault in Little Rock and trained in the PA-28-180 at North Little Rock Air. Congratulations to Roniya Kelly on passing her Private Pilot exam at ORK! Roniya graduated from Pulaski Academy this spring and finished her training in the PA-28 with North Little Rock Air this summer. She’s now off to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for college.
