We are sending out the first batch of purchased NFTs tonight. So if you’ve bought one within the past 24 hours, keep a lookout on your metamask wallet -you will be receiving your NFT shortly. This may be in the hidden section of your Opensea account.

This NFT campaign is a fundraiser for appointed Mayor Erica A Stewart (she/hers) for the city of San Luis Obispo (SLO). The NFT is an innovative way to reach a more diverse and inclusive crowd. The goals she has set for herself, and the city of San Luis Obispo, are to be more proactive in reaching the many generations and people that reside in SLO. This project aims to engage more people, especially the younger generation with their focus geared towards digital assets, experiences and more.

Recent election results have shown that there are far too few young people voting in SLO county and she hopes to continue to increase engagement during her upcoming campaign and continue as Mayor of SLO city. Appointed San Luis Obispo Mayor, Erica A. Stewart, is running for Mayor of SLO for the November 8, 2022 election. On August 8th, 2022 at 10:00 AM (PST). Erica A. Stewart will launch a NFT collection featuring 2,022 unique digital assets on the Polygon Mainnet priced at $25. 100% of all NFT contributions will be put towards Erica’s campaign.

Erica A. Stewart has teamed up with NeXGen Labs to implement an NFT fundraising strategy for her current campaign. The official artwork is designed by African artist Abbey Onikoyi. Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Abbey is a descendant of Nigerian royalty. From living in San Luis Obispo since 2002, Abbey’s community goal is to bring people together to learn and experience music.

This addition to the campaign aims to speak to a broader population, especially within the younger generation. 100% of all contributions will be put towards Erica’s historic campaign, your donation will help Erica continue to work towards a healthier and stronger SLO for all people.

Due to the California ban on political cryptocurrency donations, this NFT will only be available to mint with United States Dollars (USD). You can pay with a Credit/Debit card, as well as Apple Pay. Once the initial transaction is complete, please allow up to 48 hours until you receive your NFT in the corresponding wallet address. NeXGen Labs will be airdropping the NFT to your wallet in an effort to reduce gas fees. Polygon enables us to send NFT’s at a fraction of a cost, compared to the high Ethereum gas fees. This will all be done on a fast, secure, and decentralized network.

All mint proceeds to Erica’s campaign are political donations. In California, The Federal Political Practices Commission requires all donors to provide personal information for compliance purposes. Only US citizens and permanent residents may donate, all donors must provide key info.
