The things I avoid are the things that give me the greatest growth. I know that, but I still have challenges with coming to terms with it. Today I had a small mastermind meeting with 2 heavy hitters in the hospitality industry, Clara Carter, CDMP and Niveesha Hill, MSMOB. I was explaining to them how I had a sudden shift in business, by losing 2 large clients in one week. The reasons were different, but in the end, it was a harsh reminder that in my comfort, I hadn't really poured into creating a pipeline. On top of that, because of the sudden change in revenue, I'm back to pretty much being a single operator. My remaining clients don't feel it, but I knew if I didn't address the issue they would.
So for the past month, I've been diligently building out workflows, pipelines, sales strategies, brand positioning, automations, and even working on my personal brand. I've rebuilt my lead management, client delivery, sales pipeline, and onboarding... I wanted to make sure I was building for scale. But in that moment of vulnerability and truth amongst these ladies, I admitted that I was still lost and a bit scared of what my next steps should be.
Swoop in the accountability sisters! They got me right. "Courtney, you've been building pipelines, workflows, systems process and automations... do you know how much of a valuable skill that is?" Well... I know how valuable it's been for me! But everything she said made so much sense. The first thing I knew I needed to do was review all of my systems and processes, and with AI and automations, turn them on so my business could operate with everything, everywhere, all at once. So today, I'm expressing MAJOR GRATITUDE for the direct and candid talk today.
They got me ALL the way straight! (Sidenote... I wrote this without AI. Its not finessed, so you know its real!)
