I'm not sure I 💯 agree with this sentiment but it brings up some interesting thoughts. I do believe that passive income in some form can dramatically change your financial future and that is why I invested time in ensuring I have passive income and teaching others to do the same!

I love this graphic as focusing on gratitude has been a daily practice that has transformed how I view every aspect of life.

I am so aware of the blessings in my life and so eternally grateful that one of them is the ability to work from home and be present for my kids!

Oh if only I had a dime for every time I wasted trying to calm the storm! Took me awhile to realize this fact but now that I understand it, life and business are a whole lot easier and more fun!

I have been in business for 15 years and have found that consistently makes all the difference! We just got back from a 2 week vacation and now we start are summer schedule where I consistently touch my business a couple hours per day while kids have quiet time!

I love this analogy!

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Someone asked me today, what is the one thing that has made you most successful? My answer was that I am not afraid to fail as I see is as feedback that I can learn and grow from. You don't have to look any further than a toddler learning to walk to realize how very true that is for all of us!

You know what we don’t give moms enough credit for? A mom has her finger on the pulse of her entire household. She is the expert on her family – at any given time, she knows how each member is doing, what they are struggling with, what fills their cup, what they are proud of, what they are deeply sensitive to. Nothing escapes her. And processing all this information, figuring out what needs to be responded to or acted upon, ingraining it as institutional memory, is a completely separate labor than keeping the house clean, or making sure everyone gets where they need to be, or ticking off daily tasks so things run smoothly. It is this emotional and mental labor that keeps her up at night. It is this responsibility, both this incredible honor and immense burden, to be the very glue that holds her family together. Because that is what she is. The adhesive. And without her, it would all fall apart.
