International Women’s Day! I mean, I love a good celebration and all, especially one for us girls. And I’m super grateful to have been in roles in my past corporate life where I organized global events where we publicly celebrated, promoted, and demanded equality. Good stuff.
But this year I’m taking a quieter approach, and honoring all women by starting with me. I’ve been doing a lot of work lately to tend to this little girl in the photo (me, a million years ago) so that I can fully show up as the mother, wife, business owner, executive coach, writer and artist I want to be in this lifetime- instead of simply accepting what is and being a byproduct of the old worn out beliefs, stories, and systems that were handed to me.
Because honey…that s**t is even older than this picture.
