We’re thrilled to spotlight Lisa Whitley, founder of Whitley Insurance Solutions!

She helps her clients make sense of Medicare with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

As an independent broker, Lisa represents many reputable insurance carriers, allowing her to offer objective recommendations based solely on what fits her client’s needs and lifestyle.

Lisa began her career in the Midwest in the banking industry. She later moved to San Diego for warmer weather and to be close to family. In 2017, Lisa launched Whitley Insurance Solutions after discovering her passion for helping people navigate the often-confusing world of Medicare.

Lisa lives in Bonsall and has offices in Fallbrook and San Diego. Outside of her professional life, Lisa enjoys hiking, art, live music and traveling abroad.

We are very proud to feature our spotlight member Caroline.

A native San Diegan, Caroline Ingalls Demler found an early passion of horseback riding, and went on to compete at the national level. From there, she went east to college at the Savannah College or Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, to join their collegiate equestrian team. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a Master of Arts in Design for Sustainability.

After graduate school, Caroline took an internship at the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, where she worked in the Sustainability department. She learned about how to make aviation processes more clean and resourceful. She then moved back to Los Angeles to be closer to home, and worked for Hirsch Bedner Associates, a top hospitality interior design firm. She worked on many esteemed projects, such as for Wynn Resorts, Hilton and Hyatt to name a few, and had the chance to travel to China and the Philippines.

Caroline's love for horseback riding drew her back home to San Diego after several years in Los Angeles, where she continued her hospitality interior design career at HBG Design. She worked on several large Native American gaming and hotel projects, including the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma, which is the largest casino in the world. She achieved her NCIDQ Certification, an interior design license in the state of Georgia, and became a LEED Accredited Professional.

Now after a decade in the hospitality interior design industry, Caroline has branched out and created her own practice, Ingalls Interiors. She specializes in residential and small commercial interior design, including new construction and renovation projects. Her goal is to simplify the interior design process for clients, ensuring their needs are met while handling the rest.

Meet Nina Carter of Nina Carter Productions 🎥
From the soccer fields of Metro Detroit to the TV and beyond, Nina Carter’s journey to founding her own video production company is as dynamic as the stories she tells.

A proud Michigan native, Nina earned a full-ride Division I soccer scholarship to the University of Detroit Mercy, where her discipline and drive first took shape. At just 22, she launched her career in broadcast journalism with her first job in North Dakota — the beginning of a cross-country storytelling adventure. She soon jumped over 100 media markets to land in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned an Emmy Award as a multimedia journalist.

Her path then took her to Washington, D.C., where she produced and edited content for the Discovery Channel. She was later recruited to help launch a national digital news show — a platform that has since grown to over a million viewers. Nina continued to grow her creative expertise working at a top agency with global talent and brands, including athletes like Justin Rose and Mike Trout.

Since 2013, Nina has lived and worked in North Dakota, Oklahoma, D.C., Arizona, and now San Diego, where she’s been based for the past two and a half years. This coast-to-coast experience has sharpened her ability to uncover the unique pulse of a place, a business, or a person, and translate it into compelling, human-centered content that resonates deeply with its audience.

Lisa enjoys so many things our city has to offer. She loves the beach and desert. You will find her playing pickleball with her husband, cruising Mission Beach and Bay Boardwalks, and enjoying all the joys of being a grandmother to the best 6-year-old around! As a retired Special Education Director, you will also find her supporting local school districts to continue to give back to the community and keep her brain sharp. Lisa also supports Operation Christmas Child as a drop-off leader in East County.

Heidi is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, CDFA® at Untangle Your Finances, helping clients prepare their financial discovery documents, evaluating settlement offers, and offering alternatives so clients can make the best decisions for their futures, both in the short term and 10-20 years out.

A San Diego native, Heidi enjoys pickleball, large vessel sailing, stand up paddleboarding, and volunteering. When she’s not spending time with her 18-year-old son (which is almost always), she is an active member of Soroptimist International, La Jolla chapter whose mission as a global volunteer organization is to provide women and girls with access to the education and training, they need to achieve economic empowerment.
