At our last AFL, 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 (CEO of Base Coat Marketing) dropped one of the simplest—and most overlooked—truths:

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗸, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗦.

✅ Aim for COGS to stay under 35% of revenue
✅ Charge 3x what it costs to fulfill
✅ Ask yourself: If I fired all my clients today, would I still have this expense?

If the answer is no → that’s COGS.
And if you don’t fix it, your margins will never make sense.
