In 2016, she moved from San Diego, CA to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to daughter, Haley. A big transition from sunny San Diego (home for 30+ years).

The more time and experience I have here on earth, the more I know this for sure: Things are always working out.

When faced with conflict, challenges, heartache, betrayal or hardship, the sun WILL come up in the morning (even on cloudy days) and a new path could be available.

More healing is available. More updated information is available.

It is up to us to keep listening and looking, staying true to our internal compass and integrity, and doing the next best thing.

Even as we grow and change, our core values are embedded in all that we are. One that transcends every area of my life is dedication to freedom, growth, joy, and vitality.

In my personal life, I have the freedom to live where I choose. I do miss the sunshine, sand, long-time friends, and colleagues of San Diego (my old stomping grounds). I miss the active culture from the ocean to the mountains to the desert.
Simultaneously, I choose to live close to the “littles” (my grandkids) in the Pacific Northwest. This means I get to experience fly-by invitations for shenanigans and adventures, watch a soccer game, pinch-hit as a T-ball coach, and have impromptu tree-climbing events. While the weather is different here, I gladly accept it for all the “Hey Mimi” moments.

In business, I’m keenly aware that I have the freedom to determine the way things are done in my business; to determine where my “office” will be on any given week; to determine what stays on my desk and what I can delegate; to associate with those who are growing and expanding as business owners and people; and freedom to hire coaches and consultants to help expand my limiting beliefs.

Freedom, growth, joy, and vitality …. I’ve steadily set up my work to support these values.
