BHM | Hope you had a wonderful Black History Month celebration Love and Legacy. I'm posting the highlights in Leadership & Administration as we close out this month.

Week 2 – Mary McLeod Bethune | Organized for Impact
Mary McLeod Bethune was a master administrator, founding schools, advising presidents, and organizing Black women nationally. Her ability to build systems that lasted shows us that leadership is about vision paired with structure.

Week 3 – Bayard Rustin | Strategy Behind the Movement
Many know the March on Washington but fewer know Bayard Rustin, the strategist who organized it. His work proves that leadership often happens behind the scenes, where planning, coordination, and foresight live.

Week 4 – Leadership Moving Forward | Learning from the Builders
Today’s Black leaders stand on the shoulders of organizers like Baker, Bethune, and Rustin. Their contributions remind us that effective leadership blends humility, clarity, and intentional governance.

BHM | Week 2 – Order in the Midst of Chaos

Despite systemic barriers, Black administrators, organizers, and leaders created order, process, and sustainability. Black history shows us that leadership isn’t about control, it’s about service, vision, and accountability.

BHM | Week 1 – Leading Without Titles

Black leadership didn’t always come with formal titles, but it always came with responsibility. From organizing communities to managing movements, Black leaders have always understood structure, strategy, and stewardship, even when systems weren’t built for us.

Ella Baker | Leadership Without Ego

Ella Baker believed strong leaders create strong communities. She worked behind the scenes organizing movements, mentoring leaders, and building sustainable structures. Her leadership reminds us that administration and strategy are just as powerful as being out front.

Welcome to 2026! My official Year of the Bow. 🎀

This year, my theme is simple:
Wrapped in Purpose.
Every bundle, every blessing, every product, every prayer, wrapped with intention, beauty, and God’s grace.

The bow represents completion.
It represents being held together.
It represents God tying every loose end and finishing what He started in you.

So this year… expect to see the bow everywhere.
On my ministry.
On my business.
On my products.
On my content.
On my purpose.
Here’s to a year of being beautifully wrapped, boldly becoming, and fully aligned.

WOMEN WEDNESDAY highlights the ah-mazing Achlaï Ernest Wallace

ACHLAÏ ERNEST WALLACE
Founder & Executive Director, IWMN

It’s only fitting that we close this Women Wednesday Board Spotlight series with the one whose personal healing gave birth to a movement, Achlaï Ernest Wallace, the Founder and Executive Director of the International Women’s Ministry Network (IWMN).
Achlaï is a woman marked by covenant, courage, and calling. Her heart beats for the emotional healing and empowerment of women, especially those navigating the pressures and pain of leadership. For over two decades, she has labored faithfully in this work, and over the past several years, she has expanded that calling to include all people through her clinical practice, Wallace and Wallace Healing Center.

A registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Achlaï specializes in anxiety, trauma, grief, relationships, and spiritual restoration. Her integrative approach blends clinical excellence, including CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy with deep spiritual discernment. Whether in the therapy room or at the altar, her mission remains the same: to lead people to healing and wholeness.

But the vision for IWMN was born not in a classroom or on a strategy board, it was born through her own healing. While living in the United States, Achlaï experienced firsthand the emotional and spiritual restoration that changed her life. When she returned home to Montreal, Quebec, she knew God was calling her to provide that same safe space for other women. And so, IWMN was born, a ministry that now stands as a bridge between the church and the therapy room, creating space for women leaders to be vulnerable, seen, and restored.

Today, Achlaï leads emotional healing retreats, facilitates group therapy, trains community leaders, and continues to invest in her own growth, having earned her Masters of Christian Counseling, Clinical Mental Health at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She also serves as a worship leader, speaker, teacher, and mentor to countless women. Most recently she founded and is the Artistic Director of the London Kids Community Gospel Choir where she mentors through Gospel music, over 30 children between the ages of 7-17.

She currently lives in London, Ontario, Canada with her beloved husband, Kenneth Wallace, and their radiant daughter, her favorite walking companion and daily source of joy.

But beyond the credentials and accomplishments, Achlaï is my person.

Words can’t fully capture the depth of this covenant. Since the moment God brought her into my life, when she came from Montreal on what was meant to be a temporary stay, we’ve been inseparable in ministry, life, and heart. From youth ministry and mission trips to praise in the park, choir, Bible studies, sleepovers, fundraising, and late-night sister talks, we’ve done it all.

She is the one who taught me how to journal, who challenged me to deepen my devotional life, who stood by me through every mountain and valley. She’s seen me at my lowest and still called me worthy. A true evangelist and encourager, there is no room she walks into where she doesn’t shift the atmosphere. The anointing on her life is generational, and her transparency has ushered hundreds of women into freedom.

She is my safe place. My sharpening.
My sister in spirit, in purpose, in covenant.

And I’m forever grateful to rock this Kingdom work with her… until the wheels fall off.

It’s my birthday! So grateful for God’s goodness in my life - another year, another blessing.

I’m a New Author!
PEPTalk: Prayers to Encourage & Guide Women

What a journey this has been. I didn’t go looking for this opportunity; it found me. It literally fell into my lap, and I now see it was God-ordained all along.

I’m still in awe that God chose me for this moment. I didn’t expect it to come this way, but the prophetic Word of the Lord has come to pass just as He said it would.

To every woman who’s been waiting on a promise: He’s faithful.
And to everyone who supported this journey: thank you. I’m beyond grateful.
