Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mary Lou. ❤️

40+ birthdays together… and somehow we’re still exploring, still learning, still laughing, still loving, and still walking new paths together.

We’ve been young together and gotten older together. We’ve dreamed, built, succeeded, failed, raised a family, become grandparents, laughed, grieved, forgiven, started over, taken some crazy risks and shared more adventures than we could ever fit into a photo carousel.

Life certainly didn’t unfold exactly as we planned.

Thank God. ❤️

Some roads we chose. Others life chose for us. And somewhere along the way, we learned that we don’t get to author every circumstance that comes our way—but we do get to author the part we play in it.

Through all the people, places, chapters, beginnings and endings, the greatest constant in my adult life has been us.

Partners. Friends. Lovers. Parents. Grandparents. Teammates. Soulmates. And yes, occasional worthy opponents. 😂❤️

Celebrating your birthday this year in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, walking these old streets and adding a few more memories to the thousands we’ve already collected, somehow feels perfect.

I’ve always believed some connections between souls can’t be completely explained by one lifetime.

Ours has always felt that way to me.

So today I celebrate you, us, everything we’ve lived and learned, everyone we’ve loved, all the roads behind us—and all the paths still waiting ahead.

After 40+ birthdays and all these different versions of ourselves…

I’d still choose this journey with you. ❤️

Looking forward to being back at Inman after a few years away.

Excited to reconnect with old friends, meet some new ones, and see where real estate, AI, and technology are taking our industry next.

It’s been a busy few years working on some exciting projects in global real estate, emerging technology, and the future of trusted property infrastructure. Looking forward to sharing a little more and catching up along the way.

This weekend, millions of people will gather to celebrate America's independence.

There will be fireworks, parades, family gatherings, and moments of gratitude.

But behind every celebration is a question worth asking:

What kind of nation are we building for those who come after us?

Freedom has never been self-sustaining. Every generation is entrusted with protecting it, not only through laws and institutions, but through character, integrity, responsibility, and service.

Leadership isn't reserved for elected officials.

It begins in our homes.
In our businesses.
In our communities.
In the way we treat people when no one is watching.

As we commemorate 250 years of independence, may we remember that the greatest legacy we leave isn't what we accumulate, it's what we contribute.

The future has never been written for us.

It is written by leaders willing to serve something greater than themselves.

Some questions don't age…

I came across an older song today, “Dear Mr. President” by P!nk and the Indigo Girls, and it honestly made me stop for a minute.

Not because of when it was written, but because of how those questions still land.

Listening to it now, it's hard not to feel how relevant they are. Maybe even more today, not just here in the U.S., but globally.
The stakes feel higher. The decisions, the tone, the ripple effects, you can feel them everywhere.

It got me thinking…

What does real leadership actually look like right now?
Is it strength?
Empathy?
Accountability?

The willingness to listen, especially when it's uncomfortable?

I don't think those questions are meant for one person or one office. They apply across the board, in government, in business, and honestly in our own lives too.

For me, the bigger takeaway isn't pointing fingers. It's raising the standard, starting with myself.

How I vote. How I show up. Where I put my time and energy.

It gave me pause. Just curious how it lands for you.
