Names, addresses, dates, capacity, signatures, ownership information, and supporting documents should be consistent throughout your application.

Small inconsistencies can create unnecessary questions and back-and-forth.

You do not need to have every detail figured out, but you should have a clear idea of:

• The type of facility you want to open
• Who you plan to serve
• Your orientation and Administrator requirements
• A realistic startup budget
• The time licensing may take
• The systems and program you will eventually need to operate successfully

Opening an ARF is more than getting a license. You are building a business and a program that people will depend on every day.
