Licensing and vendorization are not the same thing — and understanding the difference early can save you a lot of confusion later.

Your California ARF licensing process and Regional Center vendorization are separate processes with different requirements, documents, and approvals.

Depending on who you plan to serve and how your program will operate, you may need to complete both.

That’s why it’s important to know your end goal before you start building your facility plan.

If Regional Center services are part of your vision, start planning for vendorization early instead of waiting until licensing is almost complete.
