But what about economic impact?

According to data shared by CalNonprofits, California nonprofits employ about 1.4 million people and represent more than 9% of the state's private workforce. They are not just charities. They are a major economic force.

That's one reason nonprofit advisors have an important role to play in helping organizations communicate both mission impact and economic impact.
