i believe that therapy is a sacred experience, thus the space where it occurs requires special care and attention. my hope is to provide a comfortable and calm atmosphere that creates a sense of safety for clients, allowing them to express and explore sensitive thoughts, feelings and experiences. what helps you feel safe and comfortable when you’re sharing personal parts of yourself?

making a list of self care activities is an act of self care. add other elements to the process to incorporate other actions of self care…like i did here by using one of my favorite note pads “guest checks” to order up some play into the ritual. music playing, deep breathing, oh and now i’m singing so i’ll be sure to add that to my next list. 🎤🩵🐚

Today’s holiday comes with an offering to practice gratitude, which is an important practice of well being. So take this moment, inhale, think about one thing you are truly grateful for, and exhale whatever weighs you down.

Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA. Been focusing on instagram posts, my s*x therapy certification, etc. With that said, if you're raising teens, and/or providing therapy for them...here's a great article: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/14/well/family/why-teenagers-mix-drinking-and-s*x.html "It helps to remind teenagers that their nerves are not only normal, but designed to keep them safe."

Anxiety is often a factor. Parents can remind teenagers that their nervousness not only is normal, but also can serve as a warning to help keep them safe.
