I hope sharing my vulnerable entrepreneur story today will help another powerful woman know that she can overcome the odds.
I never thought that my imposter syndrome, depression, constantly seeking people's approval. Always people-pleasing and often coming up short, going broke after blowing $10k - $20k monthly because of my horrible spending habits, would be the very thing that led me into pursuing and living my dreams.
I successfully launched an online product-based business making the amount of money I dreamed about, but at the time had no clue how to manage it.
On the outside people were amazed by my success
But honestly…
I was suffering in silence, falling deeper into depression, misery and anxiety.
I would literally cry all the time and not the pretty type of cry, the one where you have to put extra makeup under your eye and call it “smoky” smh.
I knew that change needed to happen. But I didn’t know how to go about it
And after having my “Come to Jesus moment” I closed my successful online store because I no longer had a passion for it.
I took years away from business to work on myself mentally and strengthen my business skills.
And in that time I was able to come across amazing entrepreneurs that needed help with their online business.
To be honest, I was shocked. They needed me and everything I had learned seemed to come so easily when teaching.
I found another passion that I never knew I would gain!
Due to my lack of confidence, I never thought I could turn my old business into a new found passion, the gift of coaching as a business.
Now I am living my dreams and even more successful than before while helping so many others. I’m so happy.
